Backorders

Why Offer Backorder?

Our toy and clothing range of sizes and colours is too extensive to physically fit a few of everything in our 500sqm retail store. If we sold mainstream gear, not a problem, but we sell rare quality gear. Many companies only deal with 5-10 suppliers and we have 90+. By offering backorder/pre-order, not only does it allows our customers to buy the gear they want, whilst having the time to shop, it gives us real-time notice of changes in product demand.

How Long Does Backorder Take?

Sometimes customers buy something that we only just ran out of, and the next batch isn't due for 6 weeks. However, most of the time, we already knew we were running low so new gear may have just arrived, but not made it to the shop floor or loaded into our system.  Backordering gear guarantees you do not miss out, should we have a spike in demand.

If an item is required as a gift or for an event, you can get an approximate estimated time of arrival (ETA) or just call the store on (07) 4977 5877. It's not uncommon for us to say, that just arrived and we can prioritise processing for you so it can get posted that day.

So customers know what is going on, Poney lists as much information as possible that will help customers know how their gear is travelling. We include when it left our supply team up to getting onto our retail floor. Backorders are pulled from shipments as they arrive, then the remaining gear goes into the retail store. Unless we say it's hit the floor, it's still getting unpacked.

If the system says we have your item in stock, it should be in the store. If it is out of stock, you can check below whether it is being processed or just give us a call. Feel free to call Poney's after-hours number 0450 515 956

Just Arrived & Incoming Gear

Mister B (SKU codes beginning with MB) or any item by Mister B - UPDATE 22nd FEB 2020
All of Mister B is physically downstairs and you can buy any of it in store. I am still putting some of it through the system but can do orders over the phone if need be. Yes we have some Mister B Leather Cargo Shorts and FXXXer Shorts in store. With 1000s of products I am slowed down putting in all the dimensions for Australia Post's new system. This is not an issue for in-store purchases. Heads up! Mister B's new Premium Leather Jocks - I have all colours and most sizes accept for what has just sold this week, so get in fast. I also have all colours in Mister B's Premium Harnesses inc. new Black and White and Black and Grey. I also have a tonne of Mister B Neoprene, jocks, shorts, tanks and T-Zips.

As of 3 am 22nd, I am slowly getting it all loaded. If you are chasing clothing, leather or neoprene, I suggest you pop into the store, and don't hesitate to contact me late Saturday as I am always late staying back renovating and happy for customers to drop by.

Oxballs (SKU codes beginning with OX) - UPDATE 8.30PM 13TH FEBRUARY 2020
The last date to add Oxballs toys is Thursday 13th. Black Rabbit has full access to Oxballs entire catalogue. If you are wanting a price on one of their buttplugs, dongs or piss play toys or anything else, just write to poney@blackrabbit.com.au and she can give you a price. Oxballs should arrive in 2 weeks.

All codes starting with RI or PS, you can write to us. We have some here to load, some on its way, and some more getting made December. We have multiple shipments coming and still taking pre-orders.

Slam Dunk
Slam Dunk is currently sitting in the store, I just need to unpack it. It arrived today but I can sell it tomorrow in store. I'll load it asap. I have Original and Scented in both sizes.

Pepee Lubricants & Waterproof Sheets
I now have in store a tonne of waterproof sheets, along with a top up on lubricants. I also have a funky new dispenser for bulk lube that is on tap and takes 5 litres. Check them out in store.

Arrived and still processing. Will update once the stock hits the retail floor. I have no elk or deer.

Heads up

I am currently doing an order for colon snakes. I can get some basic ones, but more interested in some super wicked ones from Europe. Anybody wanting colon snakes, should give me a call early next week or mention it when in store. I am making space behind my counter to bring down all our new season collars and leashes. Payment

Pay in-store

Black Rabbit Premium Leather Store has EFTPOS which accepts debit cards, visa and mastercard. Unlike giant chain stores, our online store is completely integrated with our physical store accept for one small thing and that is Gift Certificates. 

 

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash.

Most customers do not realise we have 2 differernt types of Gift Certificate. Instore and Online. Our instore Gift Certificates are glossy and gorgeous. Online are very so so. Developers are not that interested in creating nice online gift certificates that create auto pilot. If you want a nice glossy one, you need to ring the store. We will be limited with time, meaning online gift certificates are emailed to the recipient on a date and time you set. We are limited by getting them to you in the post. Picking them up is great but give us time to write them out and set them up on the system.

Gift certificates purchased in-store can be used in-store or online. Gift Certificates purchased online can only be used online. Poney thinks this is ridiculous, so we do a work-a-round. If you come instore with a Gift Certificate code from online, please hand it in, when you get instore and we shall manually set it up for you. It  takes about 10 minutes if we don't have customers. If you are going to be in a hurry, please call it through a day earlier and we will cancel your online Gift Certificate and create a new one for in-store use.

Gift Certificates can be used for both, but we need to put your secret code into our system in our physical shop.

 

Credit Card and Debit Card Online

Black Rabbit Premium Leather have offered all kinds of payment options over the years, however, we now prefer all customers to pay with either a Debit Card, Visa or Mastercard. Black Rabbit have a close relationship with our bank, which is a proud Australian bank hooked directly to our checkout. When you pay on our site you are actually in our banks portal. So we do not see nor keep your details.

We are one of the first Australian adult stores to hook directly into their bank, and it shows the level of trust we have built with our bank over 8 years.

 

Over the Phone Card Payments

Black Rabbit Premium Leather has done everything possible to provide a secure banking system online. However, we accept some people wish to order over the phone for various reasons. In line with current day strict bank protocol, unless we know you and your voice well, we will not accept any over the phone card payments that can go through our in store EFTPOS, unless you text us a picture of your credit card and drivers license matching the credit card name.

 

Bank Transfer

PAY ID / NPP banking is huge now and we love it. As we are a very small business (2 staff), we can check for npp fast banking payments straight away.  If you have spoken to Poney or Boy in store and your order is packed ready to ship, the only way it will leave the building is if its paid for.  Normal bank transfer can take 3-5 days. We don't care how you pay. We have the highest security in the World online with Bendigo Bank. Ranked in the top 5 retail banks for good reason.

Card is instant, whereas, bank transfers sometimes come through timely, but most often they do not. How long it takes is totally out of our control and considering we have a great card system, we have decided to phase out bank transfers by 1st August 2019.

Customers who have paid by bank transfer for many years and wish to remain doing so, will need to shoot Poney an email, to process it instantly and make notes as to when you will be sending the funds. Poney needs to manually update our stock twice in such cases, which doubles our workload.

Boy looks after all our payments instore and online, and takes care of our outgoing online orders.

You can reach Boy during opening hours on our Brisbane store number (07) 4977 5877. You can also text or call Boy during opening hours on 0452 218 438. Boy may be with multiple customers instore, and if he can't get to the phone, it is best to leave a message or a quick text so he can return your call as soon as possible. We are happy to also text you to let you know when we are available for you to call, should you prefer to call us.

Saturday's instore are particularly busy. We do call all customers back, should you give us a quick text.

If you need to speak to someone outside of opening hours, it is best to contact Poney by email poney@blackrabbit.com.au, with whatever issue you are having.

 

Money Orders and Cheques

As orders paid by card set the processing wheels in motion for your order straight away, money orders and cheques do not. We do not know whether your money will turn up and orders paid in this way will be considered only once payment has been received and/or cleared. If we do not receive money orders or cheques within 5 business days, we will cancel your order.

 

Lay-by

We do lay-by, or we hold things for regulars, but we do not hold things for people we do not know. Our stock system does not acknowledge an order until the order and postage is fully paid for. So it will sell an item to someone online in the blink of an eye. As we do not offer free postage, please ensure postage is selected, as collect in store is not paid postage, it is for customers who are physically coming into the store.

 

 

Money orders and cheques are put aside for 5 business days. If you know your money order or cheque isn't being sent for 2 weeks, please let us know. If you are a regular, we'll put your order aside for 3 weeks. If we don't know you, and you have not contacted us to put something aside for you, we hold your items for 5 days only and then they go straight back onto the store floor.

 

Preferred Payments:

Our preferred payment system is credit card, bank transfer or payments over the phone directly into our Bendigo Bank account directly through our secure Bendigo Bank EFTPOS terminal. This just keeps all our funds in a single easy to manage account. Plus it's an Australian bank that we love as they are a great supportive bank.

Bank transfer details are below, or for payments over the phone just call the store on (07) 4977 5877, or Skout's mobile 0452 218 438 or call the owner Poney anytime on 0450 515 956. Sometimes Poney or Skout may be on a phone call but if you leave a message you just want to pay for an order we can ring you straight back. If you wish for us to message you first, just let us know. We have a new phone system that takes multiple calls between 1pm to 6pm. After 6pm is a great time to catch Poney, as the store is closed (accept for Thursday night shopping till 8pm).

We are on the phone a lot as we offer so much assistance to all our customers and those who can't use iphones, ipads or internet out on farms, and our older folk. We pride ourselves on helping them with technology so bare with us on this one please.

If you are unsure what you are buying due to size range, sometimes it's best to call the store and get the advice. We can assist you putting your order together. We are very hands on with all our customers and we pride ourselves on ensuring you get something you'll love.

Please ensure you forward your bank transfer at the same time you order and just include the last 4 digits of your order number. It's easy for us to track at our end.

Bank transfers have 2 days to come through. We will then contact you after this period to avoid stock issues in store. If we haven't received payment within 5 days we will cancel your order, as these items could have been sold to other customers. Please don't do this to us as we are a small hardworking business, and these issues impact us.

Please note that paid orders are prioritised over non paid orders, unless an agreement is in place with Poney, by calling 0450 515 956. We understand that some customers can only order things on certain days, or specific times due to a wide range of reasons. We just need  to adjust stock levels to accommodate for this.

Existing customers, already have our trust and therefore can place pre orders directly with Poney at any time.

 

In-Store Payments

In-store payments can be made using cash and EFTPOS.  EFTPOS payments show up as BLACK RABBIT PRE,SEVENTEEN MIL on your credit card or debit statement, so it's enough info to let you know it's us. However, considering there are several Black Rabbit companys in Australia and Brisbane, it's a little ambiguous.

 

PayPal:

Not a huge fan of PayPal but the option to pay via PayPal is at checkout for those who have PayPal accounts. We have found that many customers move address and don't update their PayPal account address or emails. Please note that the street address etc plus email on your order is where we send notes and tracking to, not your PayPal email.

Customers who wish to swap out items due to last minute decisions, who have paid via PayPal have to wait 30 days for funds to get back to them from PayPal. Customers who pay via bank transfer, credit card or over phone, wait one day. Hence it's easier for us to manage this via over the phone credit cards. We love staying connected due to some customers not knowing we have other gear in store that isn't online.

PayPal is just an option at checkout. Please use the last 5 digits of your order number as the reference. Purchases made via paypal show up as BLACK RABBIT on your paypal statement.

 

Other Payment Methods

We also take bank cheques, personal cheques and money orders by mail. Goods are not sent until personal cheques are cleared by our bank. Payments over the phone are also simple for us. Cutomers wanting to remain completely annonymous can contact Poney. We can do your orders off system alltogether if wished.

 

After Pay

Afterpay and Zip Pay are not an option yet.

 

Return Payments

If you change an order and there needs to be a refund of any sort, it is done as paid. If you paid online with card, it automatically goes back on your card, if you paid via bank transfer we transfer it back in the same manner.
